Treasury & Collections Division

The Treasury and Collections Division receives, collects, and disburses all funds of the Town in accordance with law. It is our mission to provide the highest level of customer service and support to all of Auburn's taxpayers while collecting all monies due to the Town in a timely manner.

The office is committed to preserve, protect and manage the financial resources of the Town of Auburn; to invest town funds in accordance with the guidelines stipulated by Chapter 44 Section 55 of the Massachusetts General Laws. The investment policy of the Treasurer contains three funding principals: first and foremost is safety of principal, secondly is liquidity to meet weekly cash requirements, and third is return on investments. The office strives to maintain the highest level of integrity and is committed to achieving a high standard of service to the public and all municipal employees.
