Yoga is a lifelong practice of connection and awareness. Join Lindsey, a certified yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner, in a practice of asana (physical postures), pranayama (control of breath), and dhyana (meditation) that will help you live your life with consciousness and liberation.

Please bring your own mat and props (blocks, blankets, bolsters, etc.) as supplies will be limited.

POP Pilates

POP Pilates is where strength meets flexibility. Think highly-focused movements that leave your body toned and transformed. This isn’t your average workout. It’s a dance on the mat. In a full 55-minute POP Pilates class, you’ll experience a mix of modern, upbeat, and classical Pilates exercises all set to a heart-pumping playlist. Each song track has a different focus, including Total Body Opener, Hundreds, Crazy Cardio, AB Challenge, Back Work, Thigh Burnout, Flexibility, and so much more! We mean it when we say no muscle is left untouched. Designed as an equipment-free class with a range of movement modifications, POP Pilates is for everybody.

What can you expect from a POP Pilates Class? A stronger core, toned muscles, and exquisite posture. Trained and knowledgeable instructors who are ready to provide options for every class member. 15 highly focused and challenging tracks that will leave you strong and sore. Increased energy, coordination, and clarity. A balanced mixture of core work, cardio, toning, and flexibility. Fun! You’ll leave each class ready to come back to the next one!

Please bring a mat, towel, water, and a fun attitude!

Angelique Lavache is a certified POP Pilates Instructor. She loves working with all fitness levels. Whether you are new to fitness classes or experienced come join her for a POP Pilates class that just might change your life forever!



Yoga

Weekday mornings at Dr. Arthur and Martha Pappas Recreation Complex. Inclement weather class will be held at Julia Bancroft.

Wednesdays and Fridays starting September 6th for 5 weeks, 2 classes a week.
9:30 – 10:30 am

Instructor Lesley Davis

Lesley Davis has been a certified yoga instructor for over 7 years and has been practicing for the past 15. She most recently taught at Auburn Yoga & Pilates and currently teaches at Whitinsville Community Center.

Class will be suitable for all levels, whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for a while. Bring a mat and some water, and a desire to move. See you on the mat. Namaste.

Instructor Amy LeClaire

Amy LeClaire is an Auburn High Graduate and former Sally Johnson McDermott dancer (of Auburn). She grew up in the dance and fitness world, holds a Zumba license, and Master of Education in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University. As a journalist, Amy is thrilled for the opportunity to blend her dance and fitness background with her own choreography which, she admits, tells a story through movement. Amy’s classes target all fitness levels and include international and national rhythms, such as Salsa, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Merengue and Jazz.
