Car Seat Inspection/Installation Procedures and Policy

Prior to coming to the station, an appointment time must be scheduled by calling 508-832-7800.

Prior to coming to the station, please clean and sanitize your vehicle and car seats. We will be unable to assist with inspections or installations if the vehicle is deemed unclean/unsafe for the technicians to work. 

Limit the number of adults to the inspection to one. Bring your child if you would like them to be fitted properly in their seat. 

In accordance with Governor Bakers Covid-19 Order No. 55, it is required that any visitors to the station must cover their nose and mouth with the use of a mask or cloth face covering. 

When you arrive for your appointment, remain in your car. Call the station at 508-832-7800 to inform a member of your arrival and your Car Seat Technician will come outside. Once the technician is with you, we will request you maintain a distance of 6ft when possible. We also request all doors and windows be opened for a minimum of 5 minutes to properly ventilate the vehicle. While doing so, we will require the following information:

Please inspect your car seat prior to arriving. The following information will be required:

  • Make
  • Model
  • Model number
  • Expiration date/ Manufactured date
  • Guardian/Parent/Caregiver name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Child’s name, weight, height and age
  • Car make, model and year

Please try to park in the rear of the station close to Goddard Memorial Park.
